Our Tactical Data Center (TDC) provides enterprise services like email, video, chat, security and logistics IT capabilities at remote locations. The TDC provides a flexible, modular, turn‐key solution for deployed locations to maximize global collaboration for remote users, especially if they are supported by limited bandwidth via Satellite or other communications.
Using cybersecurity best practices, the TDC can connect to any Federal network or enterprise and is scalable to provide support from 50 to 5000 users who can use up to five different classifications of networks (simultaneously).
TDC systems leverage leading Government approved vendor products in all aspects of datacenter communications. TDCs feature the same capabilities found in the datacenters of Google, Facebook, or Federal Agencies. From Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) designs for security of voice, video, and data to virtualization of machines, systems, and apps; TDCs are designed to each customer’s precise requirements.
Deliberate, intuitive design features make the TDC mobile and easily deployable. TDCs are man‐portable, have interlocking cases, and feature an industry‐first self‐contained cable management system engineered by us to accelerate deployment times by 75%. This technology is a game changer with transit case-based communications systems, permitting very rapid “tool‐less” deployment while physically supporting and protecting cabling.
TDCs leverage 'smart' programming with intelligent automation of the virtualization cluster to optimize time and power usage for startup and shutdown of services. Unlike other systems, our TDC systems use aluminum transit cases to ensure the highest heat dissipation in austere environments, maximizing equipment performance and lifespan – reducing lifecycle costs.
The TDC is designed to use either generator or commercial power, with man‐portable battery back‐up that provides 30 or more minutes of back-up power.
We specifically designed the TDC to deliver enterprise-level services and address limited communications in Southwest Asia, relieving dependence of long-haul delivery of data services and solving common problems at the tactical edge.
The TDC is known as the TIB (Technical Control Facility in a Box) to US Central Command (USCENTCOM) and is currently in use at three locations: at Joint Training Base in Jordan as a Data Center Tech refresh; at FOB (Forward Operating Base) Union 3, Iraq providing Continuity of Operations services for a Joint Task Force; and at FOB Dahlke, Afghanistan as the infrastructure to stand up a completely new base.
Additional Users and Uses
Theater Commands and the Federal Government have requirements for communications "war stock" when "no notice" operations or contingencies require the delivery of data services as far forward as possible in order to maximize communications, command and control. Additionally, training is a key element of preparation for this capability. Deployable contingency communications are always lacking during catastrophic events (natural and manmade) where local infrastructure may be damaged or non-existent, and where bandwidth limitations severely constrain use of enterprise services by remote deployed users.

Modular Data Centers / Vehicle Borne Systems
Our Modular Designs are based on Industry Standard ISO shipping containers which are modified to meet the requirements for MIL-STD 810G, MIL-STD 1472G, and TIA-942 compliance including specific changes to dimensions for containers with rack enclosures. Equipment cooling is accomplished by N+1 redundant chillers which supply cold water to Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHX) eliminating the need for additional fans, blowers or ducting.
